Its open source so that’s why it is best to make dynamic web pages.

How to use it

If you want to make a server on your pc then open your browser. Search wamp, it makes a local server on your laptop.

Introduction to PHP tutorial’s end here. In next tutorial we will learn about PHP syntax and some other things. Download wamp from this and install it. After installing wamp go into your C drive. Open folder Wamp after that open folder www. www folder will be empty at that time.

Create a new folder there you can give any name, I am naming it tutorialhive. Open your folder and in that create a txt file with name index.php. You can use notepad as your text editor but I recommend to use notepad++, Brackets or sublime text. Open your php file in your editor. In php code is written between these tags <?php code here?> this is syntax.

Hello world Program

echo “hello world”;

echo used to print such as here string “hello world” will display. To run program write wamp in your system search after that enter. Open your browser and write localhost/folder name in which you have file/filename with extension. For me it is localhost/tutorialhive/index.php now click enter. Hello world will display on screen.
